The Kathmandu - Pokhara Nepal Tour

Nepal's two headline cities in one unhurried loop. Three days for the temples, stupas and durbar squares of the Kathmandu valley, a scenic drive down the Trishuli river, and three more beside Phewa Lake with the Annapurna wall on the skyline. Hotels, driver and the full darshan plan are arranged before you leave.

Day by day

Your Itinerary

6 stages from pickup to drop — timings flex around darshan queues on the day.

Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu
Pickup from Tribhuvan airport or the Sunauli border, hotel check-in, and the evening Bagmati aarti at Pashupatinath Temple.

Day 2 - Kathmandu Darshan
Boudhanath Stupa at first light, Swayambhunath and its prayer-wheel courtyards, then Kathmandu Durbar Square and the Thamel bazaar.

Day 3 - Patan & Bhaktapur
Patan Durbar Square and the Golden Temple in the morning; Bhaktapur's Nyatapola Temple and pottery square after lunch.

Day 4 - Drive to Pokhara
Scenic 200 km drive along the Trishuli river (6-7 hrs) with a stop at Manakamana. Evening free on Lakeside.

Day 5 - Sarangkot & Phewa Lake
Pre-dawn drive to Sarangkot for the Annapurna sunrise, then Davis Falls, Gupteshwar Cave and a boat out to the Tal Barahi temple.

Day 6 - Return
World Peace Pagoda at first light, then the drive back to the border or your flight out of Pokhara.
